B'nai Mitzvah Mentoring
The journey to adulthood is filled with questions, and we need proper guides to support us along the way. For the last few years, I have been mentoring young adults and preparing them for the B’nai mitzvahs. My approach is to have them both work with the structure and framework of their institutions (if they are part of it) and find their own unique path and voice. This is a rite of passage that includes the whole family so I try to include the family as much as possible in the process. I have spots for two or so more students this spring.
Topics include:
*Learning Hebrew and the mystical significance behind the letters
*Nature Connection
*Emotional awareness
*Service work
*Values Exploration
*Torah Study
*Learning Prayers and songs
Although most of the calls will be on zoom, I aim to meet each kid in person and take them on a hike or trip or visit their home. Therefore, I am open to having students from wherever.

B'nai Mitzvah Tutoring with Dor Haberer
Testimonials

“Dor delivers a soulful Bar Mitzvah preparation experience! He’s part tutor, part mentor, and part peer. He took the time to identify our son’s particular learning style. Then, in each lesson, he gently encourages him to find a personal connection to the subject. The material gets learned and, most importantly, a spiritual flame has been ignited! We are very pleased. “- Robin
